Affordable Units at Doyle Apartments

Purpose-Built Student Housing

Doyle is the first purpose-built, student-housing apartment community property within the surrounding neighborhoods of the University of Minnesota to be guided by the Minneapolis 2040 Comprehensive
Plan.

Within the Comprehensive Plan is an Inclusionary Zoning (IZ) provision to provide a percentage of bedrooms within Doyle to be available at an affordable rate. The rate is determined by the City of Minneapolis on an annual basis.

17 bedrooms have been designated at Doyle as affordable.
